The minimum order is one full container load, 20ft or 40ft: 25 kg bags for flakes and pearls, IBC tanks or PE drums for liquid caustic soda. A 20ft container holds about 25 tonnes of flakes or pearls; the exact loaded weight is confirmed on the quotation.

Caustic soda is priced in US dollars per metric ton and moves with the chlor-alkali market, freight and order volume. Divide the price per ton by 40 for the price of one 25 kg bag.

Liquid caustic soda is supplied at 48–50% NaOH in IBC tanks or PE drums. It needs no dissolving, but it carries about as much water as alkali, so it suits plants that dose liquid directly.

Loading normally takes 7 to 14 working days from confirmed order. Sea transit from Jebel Ali is typically 1 to 4 days to other Gulf ports, 3 to 14 days to South Asia and 7 to 19 days to East Africa.

From Jebel Ali we mainly serve the GCC, Iraq, East Africa and South Asia. Europe, the Black Sea, the Balkans, North and West Africa are usually served from Mersin in Türkiye, and Latin America is routed per quotation.

Every shipment carries a certificate of analysis for the lot, safety data sheet, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or delivery note, certificate of origin and the Class 8 dangerous-goods declaration for UN 1823 (solid) or UN 1824 (solution). SGS, Bureau Veritas or Cotecna inspection is available on request.

Standard terms are T/T against shipping documents or an irrevocable letter of credit at sight. The terms and offer validity are stated on the proforma invoice.

Solid caustic soda, meaning flakes and pearls, is HS 2815.11 and liquid caustic soda is HS 2815.12. The CAS number of sodium hydroxide is 1310-73-2 and it ships as Class 8 dangerous goods.

Flakes 98–99% are the standard form for soap, detergent, textile and water-treatment plants. Pearls 99% flow freely, make less dust and dose accurately in automatic feeders, and are currently priced below flakes. Liquid 48–50% suits plants built for liquid dosing, because it needs no dissolving.

For buyers in the GCC, East Africa and South Asia, Jebel Ali is much closer than Chinese ports, so transit is shorter, less cash is tied up in cargo at sea and replacement orders arrive faster. A second loading origin at Mersin keeps supply running if a Gulf lane is disrupted.
